Ranton Village Hall Quiz Night
The next Ranton Village Hall Quiz Night will be held on the 8th of September at 7:30pm

The price of entry is £6 and this includes a fish and chip supper

Come along and bring your brains with you !

The Flaky Tarts at The Village Hall
Saturday 21st of May Ranton Village Hall 8pm - Tickets £7.50

The Flaky Tarts are:

Tony Barrett: Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, raconteur.

Denis Billau: Tenor singer, songwriter and talented guitarist.

Glen Buglass: Bass and guitar player, singer, songwriter.

The trio hale from Staffordshire and got together through meeting at the vibrant Bookmark Bloxwich theatre. Tony has been on the midlands music scene for many years. Glen has been in rock and acoustic bands in London and the midlands all his life. Denis decided he wanted to do something valuable after he retired from a career in teaching; he's become a Flaky Tart.

The material is self penned. The trio play guitars, mandolin and bass to make their unique sound. They harmonise vocally and their songs are written to make you think. The band plays a range of styles from folk through country to rock, so audiences never know what is coming next! Tony Barrett, the group’s front man has the audiences in stitches with his quips and observations.

You are always with good company when you are with The Tarts.

There will be a Harvest Supper in the Village Hall on Monday 28th September 2015

Life and Times of THE TAT MAN
A Regional Voice Theatre Production of a powerful one man show.

At the Village Hall in Ranton on the 26th of September 2015, at 7:30pm

Ranton Village Hall Christmas Fayre
Come and join us at the Village Hall on Saturday 6th of December to see Santa switch on the village Christmas Tree lights.

There will be lots of stalls, games plus food and drink and a raffle to win a Christmas hamper.

Fish and Chip Supper Quiz
There will be a Quiz in the Village Hall on Friday 1st of July

Tickets are �7.50 and �4.00 for children (Including Fish and Chips)

Ranton Village Craft Fayre


The annual village Craft Fayre will be held on the 25th of September between 1pm and 4pm at the village hall.

Come and buy some wonderful home made cakes, biscuits and preserves.

There are lots of plants to top up your borders, as well as local artists and crafters.

If there is nothing that takes your fancy then simply join us for some coffee and cake


Quiz Night

There is a Quiz Night at the Village Hall this Friday (30th of April).

Be there at 7pm for a 7:30 start, tickets cost �6.00 and include a fish and chip supper. Bring your own drink if you want to.

Ranton Village Hall General Information
Ranton Village Hall is the perfect venue for private parties and functions at reasonable rates

If you would like to hire it or any of the equipment please contact the bookings secretary on (01785) 282219.

You can also help support the Village Hall by taking part in the weekly prize draw.

Each number costs 10p per week, that is only £5.20 for a whole year !

If you would like to help then please contact Debbie on 282525 or see any member of the Village Hall Committee to take part.

The Village Hall Committee meet on the Second Tuesday of every month at 7pm, all are welcome to attend the meetings.

Christmas Fayre - Sat 5th December

Santa will be driving around the village at dusk and arrive at the Village Hall at 5pm for the turning on of the Christmas Tree lights.

The Fayre will feature a BBQ, Mince Pies and Mulled Wine, along with an assorment of stalls for Cakes, Preserves and all sorts of lovely Christmas Presents.

If anyone can help with donations of new, or good as new, boxed / wrapped gifts please take them to Hillberry, Brookside, Brogaran, Stocking Lane, or drop them off on the morning at the Village Hall. (No bric-a-brac or videos)


Arts and Crafts Show
26th of September 2009 2pm to 4pm in the Village Hall. Come along to see and purchase lots of exciting arts and crafts from local residents. Teas and cakes are available.

Fund Raising Quiz

A quiz to raise funds for the DriveMe Appeal is to be held on Sunday 16th of August, 2:30pm at Great Bridgeford Village Hall.

Tickets are �5 per person including refreshments (Admission is by ticket only)

Arts and Crafts Exhibition

The Sixth Annual Arts and Crafts Exhibition will take place on September 20th from 1pm to 4pm at the village hall

There will be plants, home made cakes and preserves, hand made bird boxes and tables, hand knitted clothes, decorative boxes, limited edition flower portraits and original paintings.

Free admission and refreshments will be available
